Gristle Viral Marketing is used every day by someone and every time it backfires. Gristle Viral Marketing is when you use garbage or re-hashed information and constantly market that information to people.
When you have a steady roster of clients or subscribers you better offer them something new. If you promise them a new e-book, then use new content in it, don't use an old copy. If they are your clients they expect you to offer them new things, not old. They lose their trust in you if you promise them something but the offer is actually different.
Clients always wonder if the products they buy are new and they expect them to be new. If you constantly use the same products, you turn them into something average and it's only a matter of time before everyone has your products. But they won't pay the full price for it; they will buy it from the ones that sell it the cheapest.
To avoid Gristle Viral Marketing you must offer your clients quality information. You must make some sacrifices and share this information with the people and eventually they will become your clients.
Many believe that by offering quality information for free you will ruin your business but that is not true. By doing this you will raise your credibility faster. Of course this doesn't mean offering your entire information for free, but just a piece of it, like a preview.
Offer them something that they can use: tips, techniques or experiences, and when they see that your information is useful, they will want more of it. Then they will be willing to become your clients.
