If you want to be successful in your Viral Marketing business you must follow these 6 principles:
- Offer something for free
- Offer an easy transfer to others
- Scales from small to large
- Exploit behaviors and general motivations
- Use existing communication networks
- Use others' resources
- Offering something free is very important. Offer free quality information and you will gain the people's trust.
- You must transmit your marketing message easily and the message should be transmitted through an easy to transfer and replicate medium. Something like: 'Get your free tips at: httpxxxxxxx'.
- You must be able to scale your transmission method from small to large.
- Create a marketing strategy that uses behaviors and general motivations: greed, the need to be popular, loved and understood; and you will have success.
- Place your message into existing communication channels between people and it will spread very fast. Usually a person has a network of 8-12 people in their close network of friends. Each of those 8 people has 8 friends that have 8 friends and so on, so you can see how the message is transmitted.
- Transmit your message through other resources: affiliate programs or free articles for example.
