Europe and Asia will benefit from Neteller's new prepaid cards
By Jane Eagle, May 9th 2007NETeller announced today its new credit cards, which are prepaid, reloadable debit and remittance, and they were created for the Europe and Asia Pacific's players. The new prepaid card can be used at over 24 million ATM’s and Point-of-Sale (PoS) terminals worldwide, and is connected to a customer's NETELLER e-wallet account.
The NETELLER President and CEO, Ron Martin, said that is important for both the casino and the clients that the new cards can be used at such a large number of terminals. He is satisfied with the success of his company in Europe and Asia, because he believes that the success will open new areas of business.
The existing NETELLER Card will be replaced by the new prepaid card. The clients will have access to lower prices thanks to this card and they will be able to use it in different currencies.
Since is tied to the customer's e-wallet account, he will no longer have to pay the foreign exchange fees. The card is expected to be released by the end of May 2007. The customers were already announced by the withdrawal date of the existing NETELLER card: 3 May 2007.
The existing cards can still be used by the Canadian players, only in Canada and only on the Interac network.
