What Not to Do at the Casino Affiliate Convention
By Ellen Smith, May 30th 2007The Casino Affiliate Convention (Amsterdam 2007) was focused this year on European marketing and advertising for the online gaming industry. It was a pleasure to attend at all the events organized in the course of the three days of convention.
You had the opportunity to spend your time with the crazy late night crowd. Why not to do this for the next three days? The only thing you had to face were the 30 minute meetings presented by various experts during a day. Then, all the nights were yours. It’s true that the “crazy late night crowd” doesn’t get up early in the morning like you to participate at the convention, but you have to get by it.
Being such a promoted event I won’t tell you my conclusion about the convention, probably already someone else has. But I really want to give you some advice about what not to do during the event.
Don’t forget that Gambling911 is always watching. Don’t drink too many cocktails and happily smile for the camera, because you can pretty sure that the camera belongs to Gambling 911.
Don't fall for the kiss on the cheek picture either. People will speculate that it's evidence you spent the night together with that other person.
On the other hand it is funny when people in the industry request the removal of their partying/kissing/groping/drunken picture(s).
